Our updated Privacy Policy takes effect tomorrow, **9 August 2026**.
This is not new. We announced it 14 days ago here on the forums and in a Discord
announcement. We are posting again so nobody misses it.
What is changing:
- **Image screening.** Every image uploaded to the forum is checked against known child-abuse hash lists before it is stored. A match is refused and never saved.
- **Screening records.** If an upload is refused we keep a record of the refusal: the file identifier, your account, IP address, file type and size, and the time.
- **Improving moderation.** We may use content posted to the Services, and the moderation outcomes attached to it, to build and improve the tools that flag rule-breaking. The content is used, not who wrote it: your username, account ID, email and IP address are not inputs. None of this is ever sold, traded, licensed, or handed to another company for their own model training, and it is never used for advertising or profiling. It exists for one reason, so that MythicMC is a better moderated and safer place for everyone here.
- **Your choice.** If you would rather be excluded from this, or you want your data deleted, contact us and we will take care of it. We can exclude your content going forward, though anything already used to train a system cannot be pulled back out of it.
